STIKATAK RACES TO GLORY AT SILVERSTONE
Stikatak’s customers offered days racing to hit sales targets and boost sales



Stikatak, the market leader in flooring accessories, took a number of its stockists for a days racing at Silverstone racetrack. As part of Stikatak’s 21st birthday celebrations, customers were offered incentives to help hit targets and boost sales. Prizes to be won started with single lottery tickets and reached all the way up to a day at Silverstone for companies that reached their years’ target.

50 Stikatak customers and staff attended Silverstone for an experience that included rally car, Lotus Exige, 4x4 and skid car driving. Everyone was given expert training and instruction from a professional racing car driver, and then let loose!

On the day it was Paul Smith, Operations Director at Stikatak, who was awarded the best overall driver trophy. Also drawn on the day was the winner of a luxury trip to Germany with two World Cup tickets - Barry Lockwood of Rolfe Carpets was the lucky winner and will be heading off this month.

The Winning Team promotion aims to forge stronger relationships between Stikatak and their customers, at the same time as giving these valued clients the opportunity to experience such events as Silverstone and the World Cup Finals.

John Stock, Sales Director, was there on the day and was thrilled with the success of the promotion: “We are very keen on getting our customers involved in as much as possible at Stikatak, and this was a great way to give them something back. It’s just a shame Stikatak employees couldn’t enter as I would have loved to go to Germany for the World Cup Finals!”
