Stikatak is one of the market leaders in flooring accessories in the UK. They offer 800 products to 2000 customers throughout Europe, the Middle East and the USA. They are members of the CFA and NICF and are able to act as the eyes and ears in the flooring accessories market for their customers giving them early warning in changes, trends and of opportunities to be taken advantage of.

As a result they are financially sound, have achieved year on year growth, have expanded their manufacturing facility at Ruislip to include the manufacturing of adhesives.

Stikatak’s Current Trade Position
Stikatak has an impressive range of tools and products for the flooring professional, which are internationally recognised as being both reliable and efficient.

Firstly Stikataks range of adhesives, screeds and primers has been carefully planned and produced at their manufacturing plant and tested by their own highly qualified adhesive technicians and R & D team to ensure their quality, effectiveness and ease of use for virtually every installation requirement. Stikatak has extended their manufacturing facility at Ruislip to enable them to produce a high quality range of solvent free, low VOC water based adhesives, the first UK adhesives manufacturer to be awarded the European Emicode classification.

A Stikatak ‘best seller’ is the SpeedCatt, which is a revolutionary tool for the professional floor layer. It has been specifically developed by Master Fitters who have created the tool with wheels to revolutionise the carpet fitting trade by speeding up the process. It creases and tucks carpets into place speedily, saving time and money.

Another example of Stikatak’s dedication to the industry is the Trim Master. It’s design is unique – the depth of the blade and the angle of the single rotating arm can easily be adjusted to ensure perfect trimming in both directions and a cut that is fast and precise. Having only one rotating arm means that the Trim Master can run easily under radiators or any overhangs, will give a perfect return cut and is easily and comfortably used with either hand. The blade extension also adjusts to take into account the thickness of the vinyl or carpet floor covering.

Latest news from Stikatak - Length does matter!
Stikatak has always relied on our customers’ input to produce the best products at the best value. With this in mind we carried out a survey with our customers and flooring installers, asking them: “Would you prefer to stock carpet and vinyl edgings in 2.7m or 2.43m (8ft) lengths?” An overwhelming 98% opted for 2.7m.

Major builders are now installing, as standard, minimum internal doorway widths of 0.864m. Therefore the previous standard length of 2.43m (8ft) for Stikatak carpet and vinyl edgings is no longer the most efficient length.

All Stikatak trade floor edgings are now sold in 2.7m and 0.9m lengths, enabling our customers to fit a greater variety of doorways from our new standard length edgings, ensuring less wastage and better value.

By bringing our carpet and vinyl edging lengths in-line with our laminate edgings we have standardised the lengths of our whole range. This means you will never be caught short with Stikatak!
